The growth game has changed
Building-in-public, cross-platform owned content etc
Every 7-10’ish days, I will publish this newsletter to provide a quick summary of Micro Essays I’ve published across Twitter, Linkedin etc. along with a bit more context and info in case anyone isn’t active on Twitter or Linkedin, wants to go deeper etc.
Experimenting with the structure / flow so let me know if you like this one or prefer something else.

B2B distribution is hard. Here are 5 reasons why. (Twitter Link / Essay Link)
Why I Wrote the Micro Essays:
A lot of people want to give back but get turned around when thinking about where / how to get started. I think this headline is a no brainer way to start having impact in a way that will sustain as you know how meaningful the work is that you’re doing via firsthand experience.
James Clear is a beast. There’s no way you can read “Atomic Habits” and not get better. 1% better everyday and drive compounding returns.
Please take note of how the world’s fastest growing B2B SaaS companies + their executive leadership teams are growing by building communities across platforms such as Twitter + Linkedin ripping market share from their legacy competitors working off old school playbooks.
See #3 above and become a magnet to attract opportunities, talent and high-quality relationships by helping people understand how you think.
What’s being referred to as the “Creator Economy” will most likely become the “Economy”. As THE GOAT, Seth Godin says, get comfortable saying “That’s ok, it’s not for you” as the content you create shouldn’t be designed for everyone, only the audience you’re looking to help see around corners etc.
Naval is my favorite philosopher king on Twitter so I’m always looking to help others discover him. While I don’t think he believes the “either or” statement he made, I think he was provoking a conversation about the massive changes in sales, marketing, distribution etc and the implications on growing your business.
What started with Bitcoin and is accelerating with NFTs, I love the way ballplayers, musicians, artists etc are embracing blockchain technology / crypto to capture more of the value they create than ever before.
The distribution game is no longer what most C-suite executives and their leadership teams think it is which translates to a substantial opportunity to get on the right side of modern distribution.
